TALLINN DIGITAL SUMMIT
TALLINN, ESTONIA
29 SEPTEMBER 2017

This year, the EU Digital Summit will be held in Tallinn, Estonia, the current home of the presidency of the Council of the EU. All EU member states save for Portugal are expected to attend one of the most important events in this six-month presidency.

None of the European leaders are obliged to attend as it is not a part of the official EU meetings, but nearly all leaders at the level of state and government have ralllied around this topic in an attempt to adress some widespread issues.

The Estonian presidency (nicknamed e-Estonia) has been quite involved in the digital realm during its current leadership and is one of the leading European countries in digital public administration. The Digital Summit is expected to continue this trend.
