IOC: 2024 CANDIDATE HOST CITIES BRIEFING LAUSANNE, SWITZERLA ND 11-12 JULY 2017 The 2024 Candidate cities briefing for International Olympic Committee (IOC) Members will take place at the SWISSTECH CONVENTION CENTER, on 11 and 12 JULY 2017. An extraordinary session of the IOC will be held on 11 July afternoon to discuss the proposal of the Executive Board to award the Olympic Games 2024 and 2028 at the same time. The purpose of the briefing is to give both 2024 Candidate Cities – Los Angeles (USA) and Paris (France) the opportunity to present their proposals directly to IOC Members and International Federations, and offer any response to the Evaluation Commission report, prior to the 2024 host city election that will take place on 13 September during the 131st IOC Session in Lima, Peru. The IOC Executive Board (EB) will meet at the Lausanne Palace Hotel on 9 and 10 JULY 2017. EUROVISION Special Events will offer the following broadcast production and transmission facilities onsite: • SD/HD stand-up positions for live programme inserts • SD/HD tape playout (multi-format) • SD/HD connectivity to the Eurovision Global Network On 11 July only: • Footage of the entrance of the delegations in the presentation room will be pooled and made available to broadcasters onsite free of charge. • Dubbing can be provided onto broadcasters own P2 cards or file onto broadcasters’ own hard disk or USB stick.
