US President Barack Obama will be paying one last unexpected visit to Berlin on November 16th. German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Barack Obama and the leaders of Italy, France and the UK will discuss the ongoing crisis in Syria and Ukraine, as well as the refugee crisis.

US President Barack Obama meets German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Berlin on Thursday, 17 November.
Their discussions are likely to focus on the outcome of the US election last week. Later, the President will attend a dinner with Chancellor Merkel and will remain overnight in Berlin. On 18 November Obama meets leaders of Germany, France, Italy, Spain and the UK in Berlin.
The trip will likely be the last international tour of his presidency.
