G7 SUMMIT
TAORMINA, ITALY
26-27 MAY 2017

Italy will host the meeting of the G7 leaders on 26-27 May, 2017. The summit will focus on the global economy, foreign policy, security of citizens, and environmental sustainability.

The G7 summit brings together the leaders of Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and the United States. The EU will be represented by European Council President Donald Tusk and European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker.

Please note: Italy has temporarily suspended the Schengen Treaty due to the G7 Summit meeting. Passport controls are therefore in place between Italy and the other Schengen Zone member states from 10 to 30 May.
