"A meeting between Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin and is being prepared and worked out. They agreed that the meeting will be in the on August 9th.

This will be the leaders' first face-to-face meeting since late June President Erdogan has sent a letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin to celebrate Russia Day, the national holiday of the Russian Federation. Following this, in late June, Putin signed a decree lifting restrictions on Russian tour firms working in Turkey as well as lifting other sanctions.
