AUSTRIA PRESIDENTIAL POLL OVERTURNED VIENNA, AUSTRIA 1 JULY, 2016 Austria's highest court has annulled last month's presidential election, which was narrowly lost by the far-right candidate of the Freedom Party. The party had challenged the result, claiming that postal votes had been improperly handled. If elected, Norbert Hofer will become the first far-right head of state of a country in the European Union.
