REYKJAVIK, ICELAND 28 JUNE - 3 JULY 2016 The official fanzone for the UEFA European Football Championship 2016 has moved to Arnarhóll in the city centre due to the thousands expected to watch the Iclenadic National team matches. Around 15 thousand people are expected to flock to the event. The big screen was located at Ingólfstorg in the city centre, an area that cannot accommodate such a large crowd. Arnarhóll is the green hill on the corner of Hverfisgata and Lækjargata in the city centre which features a statue of viking Ingólfur Arnarsson, the first settler in Iceland, by sculptor Einar Jónsson. Plenty of pubs and restaurants are screening the game as well.
