DEMOCRATIC NATIONAL CONVENTION
PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA, USA | 24-29 JULY 2016

The Democratic National Convention is taking place in Philadelphia, 25-28 July, 2016. Delegates will choose the party's nominees for president and vice president of the United States.

To aid your coverage, The Associated Press will provide extensive broadcast facilities during the convention.

LIVE POSITIONS INSIDE THE WELLS FARGO CENTER
The live positions will be located inside the Wells Fargo Center, the venue of Democratic convention in Philadelphia:
SkyBox-level stand-up positions, overlooking the convention floor (SkyBox #25)
SkyBox-level multi-camera switched positions to anchor news bulletins (SkyBox #25)
Convention floor-level standup positions, right next to the delegates (Endzone #9)

WORKSPACE
The media workspace for all news organizations will be located adjacent to the Wells Fargo Center. The Associated Press will provide a comprehensive workspace set up.

After June 6 the RNC and DNC facility providers will increase rates 40% for late orders.

ADDITIONAL LIVE LOCATION
Depending on affiliate interest, The Associated Press may deploy a satellite truck outside the secure perimeter so that journalists can cover live any possible public unrest. Please contact Washington to discuss your requirements.

MEDIA ACCREDITATION
Accreditation deadline has passed. If you have not applied for accreditation, please do let us know as soon as possible.
As we have done in the past, AP Global Media Services will accredit your team under the AP umbrella for both political conventions. We will only credential broadcasters working with the AP and we will process your accreditation directly with the House Radio and TV Gallery on Capitol Hill.

The Associated Press will provide rotational floor passes for correspondents wanting to do live reports, record stand-ups or shoot stories on the Convention floor with the delegates.

DEMOCRATIC NATIONAL CONVENTION

The Democratic National Convention will take place in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, from July 25-28, 2016.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee. However following a strong challenge throughout the primary season, Senator Bernie Sanders will be pushing for the party to take more progressive stances on issues like trade, the minimum wage and climate change.

Following the Brexit vote, Clinton is also facing warnings that disillusionment among working people in America could drive up support for the presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump.

EUROVISION Americas will offer comprehensive facilities in Philadelphia to enable reporting of the Convention.

Dedicated workspace for Eurovision customers will include a cabled live feed of Convention proceedings, general use wi-fi, and the option of cabled high-speed internet for reliable FTP-ing.

Eurovision will have multiple live stand-up positions inside the Convention arena with a view of the stage and delegate seating for reporting on proceedings.

A 2-camera switched option with a view towards the stage and seating will be available for live programme or segment anchoring from inside the arena.
An unstaffed, unequipped stand-up position with Ethernet connectivity will be available with a exterior backdrop for customers using their own equipment.

Eurovision will arrange credentials for its customers, including access to the Convention floor during the evening keynote speeches to record vox pops and pieces-to-camera.

• Option of playing out reports from laptops in real time
• Cabled feed of Convention proceedings in HD or SD, 60 or 50 fps
