Belgrade, Serbia, 03-04 December, 2015 The 22nd OSCE Ministerial Council will take place on 3 and 4 December 2015 in Belgrade, Republic of Serbia. The Ministerial Council is the central decision-making and governing body of the OSCE. The meeting provides the foreign ministers of the 57 OSCE participating States an opportunity to review and assess the Organization's activities during the past year and offer national viewpoints on security matters. It is expected that Foreign Minister H.E. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu will meet with his counterpart Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to discuss and exchange information concerning the incident involving the Russian military aircraft which was shot down on November 24. United States Secretary of State, John Kerry is also expected to attend the meeting. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said Russia viewed the downing as a planned act and Moscow would "seriously reconsider" its relations with Ankara.
