Zurich, Switzerland, 02-03 December 2015 Swiss police have arrested two FIFA Executive Committee members in dawn raids on the Hotel Baur au Lac in Zurich. The arrests were requested by the U.S. Department of Justice as part of ongoing bribery investigations. The two Executive Committee members are being held in custody pending their extradition to the United States. In a statement, FIFA has said that they will "continue to cooperate fully with the U.S. investigation as permitted by Swiss law, as well as with the investigation being led by the Swiss Office of the Attorney General." The Current round of FIFA Executive Committee meetings follow reform plans introduced on 20 October, which inlcude term limits and an age-limit for the president and members of the FIFA Council. The final proposals are expected to be voted at FIFA's congress on 26 february, which will gather all 209 member associations.
