Brussels, Belgium, 17-18 December, 2015

The European Council meeting will take place at the Justus Lipsius building on 17 and 18 December 2015.

The European Council will take stock of the implementation of its decisions taken in response to the migration and refugee crisis and agree further orientations.

EU leaders will discuss the President's report on the Economic and Monetary Union.

Further to the Commission communication "Upgrading the Single Market: more opportunities for people and business", the European Council will address the completion of the European single market in all its dimensions.

Following the reception by President Tusk of Prime Minister Cameron's letter on the UK's specific demands and proposals, EU leaders will revert to the next steps on the (in/out) referendum.

In light of developments on the ground, the European Council will come back to relations with Russia and the situation in Ukraine.
