The Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People, in co-operation with the League of Arab States and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation will organize an international meeting on the question of Palestine.

The meeting which will take place in Brussels between 7th – 8th of September will focus on the theme “Israeli settlements as an obstacle to peace – possible ways forward”, including the Israeli settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, their status under Israeli and international law, as well as the impact of Israeli settlement activity on the life of Palestinian people. It will also look into the role of regional organizations such as the European Union, national institutions, civil society and local authorities in promoting a settlement construction freeze and bringing about a two-state solution to the conflict.
