Flash floods triggered by cloudburst have inundated several parts of Pakistan ranging from the Chitral valley in the country's northern region, Southern Punjab and the mountainous areas of Balochistan.

Torrential rains have continued to wreak havoc countrywide, the Chitral, Peshawar, Swat, Dera Ghazi Khan and several districts of Punjab, where a state of emergency has been declared.

Army troops have been called for rescue work as heavy downpours set off hill torrents. While the nuclear facility is also inundated, causing panic and fear among the concerned authorities.
