The European Maccabi Games 2015 are to take place in Berlin. It is the first time Europe’s biggest Jewish sports event has taken place in Germany. More than 2.000 Jewish sportswomen and sportsmen from more than 36 countries will compete in 19 disciplines in Berlin’s Olympic Park. The games will be opened by the German president, Joachim Gauck, on 28th.
