The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) will hold its next Ordinary Meeting in Vienna, Austria on Friday, 05 June 2015.

The delegates are likely to hear demands from some members of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries for a reduction in the amount of oil pumped. But expectations are the OPEC countries are set to maintain current oil production levels.

Accounting for around 40 percent of global oil output, OPEC currently comprises 12 members, namely Algeria, Angola, Ecuador, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Libya, Nigeria, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE and Venezuela.
