Cannes, France - 13 to 24 May 2015

The 68th annual Cannes Film Festival will run from Wednesday 13 May through Sunday 24 May with a star-studded line-up.

Cate Blanchett, Matthew McConaughey, Naomi Watts, Marion Cotillard and Sir Michael Caine are among the actors expected on the Croisette. Many returning directors such as Gus Van Sant, Nanni Moretti and Jacques Audiard are also competing for the Palme d’Or. Expected in Cannes by all Mad Max fans is the worldwide premiere of its latest chapter Fury Road, screened out of competition as well as Woody Allen's Irrational Man and latest Pixar's Inside Out.

The festival will open with the screening of French Emmanuelle Bercot’s film: La Tete Haute (Standing Tall).

For the first time, the jury will be jointly chaired by two people: Joel and Ethan Coen. The Coen brothers have shared directing and writing credits on all of their movies. They won the Palme d’Or, in 1991 for Barton Fink, the best director award for Fargo in 1996 and The Man Who Wasn’t There in 2001. 2 years ago, their Inside Llewyn Davis won the festival’s Grand Prix.

Eurovision Special Events will provide production and broadcast facilities in Cannes, France.

The feedpoint is offering impressive views on the Palais des Festivals' red carpet & famous stairs, the Croisette and the Mediterranean Sea.
