Pope Francis is set to come to Poland for the World Youth Day – an event for young Catholics – which is to be held in Kraków between 26-31 July 2016.

According to estimates, up to 600,000 Catholics are to take part in the initial ceremony welcoming Pope Francis, while one million are expected to take part in Friday’s ceremony marking the Way of the Cross. Meanwhile, as many as two million Catholic youths are expected to attend the culminating Mass near Wieliczka.
