Turkey will hold general elections on June 7, 2015 to elect 550 members of the Grand National Assembly, which will form the 25th Parliament of Turkey.

The governing Justice and Development Party (AKP) party is seeking a fourth consecutive term. Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who became President in August 2014 after a decade as Prime Minister, is hoping the AKP will secure a two-thirds majority in order to proceed with changing the country's constitution.
