Manila, Philippines , 17-20 November 2015

Leaders of the 21 Asia-Pacific member economies will gather in Philippines for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in November 2015 under the theme “Building Inclusive Economies, Building a Better World”.

The APEC, founded in November 1989, is a multilateral international organization which seeks to foster free trade and economic prosperity among its member-economies in the Asia-Pacific region. The APEC is composed of 21 member-economies, namely: Australia, Brunei, Canada, Chile, People’s Republic of China, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Peru, the Philippines, Russia, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, the United States of America, and Vietnam.

This year will mark the second time Philippines is host of the meeting, the first one being in 1996.
