On 25 September 2015, His Holiness Pope Francis will address the UNGA, and from 25-27 September the Summit for the Adoption of the Post-2015 Development Agenda will convene. New York, United States, 28 September- 02 October 2015
The United Nations will hold its 70th General Assembly debate beginning on September 28th. On Monday, the Secretary-General will introduce his report followed by high-profile speakers including President Obama and Russian President Vladimir Putin, who will attend the summit for the first time in ten years. Other world leaders attending the annual event will be Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The General Assembly will be preceded by a summit on Sustainable Development held on September 25th-27th.
