The vice-president of the United States, Joe Biden, is to visit the EU in Brussels. He will meet the president of the European Council, Donald Tusk, and the president of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker. He will have a bilateral meeting with the president of the European Parliament, Martin Schulz, and then take part in a meeting of the conference of presidents of the EP political groups, followed by a press point. Mr Biden will then visit Munich where he is scheduled to have trilateral talks with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and German Chancellor Angela Merkel, coincides with a debate in Washington over whether to provide weapons to Ukraine in its fight against Russian-backed separatists.
