The CGIL labor federation has proposed to its executive body an eight-hour general strike December 12th against the government's 2015 budget bill and its Jobs Act labour reform bill.
Susanna Camusso, the leader of Italy's largest and most leftwing union federation said she hoped fellow unions CISL and UIL would "converge" on the date.
