The Vatican announced that Pope Francis will pay an official visit to Turkey from November 29 to 30. During the trip the Pope Francis is expected to visit the Turkish capital of Ankara on November 29 followed by Istanbul on the following day, where he will celebrate the feast of Saint Andrew.

Pope Francis will travel to Turkey Nov. 28-30, the Vatican announced recently. Francis is scheduled to meet Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Nov. 28; also He will visit both the historic Christian basilica of Hagia Sophia, and the Blue Mosque in Istanbul.
