Brussels, Belgium, 18-19 December 2014

European Heads of State or Government will meet in Brussels on 18 and 19 December 2014. This upcoming summit will be chaired by Donald Tusk, the new President of the European Council.

Topics on the agenda include European Commission President Juncker's €315 billion package, tackling tax evasion and the situation in Ukraine. Regarding Ukraine, Heads of State or Government are expected to underline that they are committed to defending their position vis-a-vis Russia and that they want Ukraine to go forward with reforms.

Further items on the agenda: Energy Union, Digital Single Market & report on better economic governance.
