German chancellor Angela Merkel will host a conference on 28th August for the leaders of the Western Balkans states in Berlin. The conference will deal with economic issues, as well as the region's political ties to the European Union.
The German government has invited the heads of Government, the Foreign Ministers and the Ministers of Economy of seven former states of Yugoslavia (Serbia , Croatia , Slovenia, Bosnia - Herzegovina , Kosovo, Macedonia , Montenegro and Albania) as well as representatives of the EU Commission and the European Council.
Eurovision Special Events will offer the following facilities at the Chancellery - Bundeskanzleramt, Willy-Brandt-Strasse 1 - where the press conference will take place:
