Eurovision Song Contest

Copenhagen, Denmark, 02-10 May, 2014

Following Denmark's victory last year in Malmo, the city of Copenhagen has been selected to host the 59th Eurovision Song Contest this year.

The 2014 Eurovision Song Contest will take place at the B&W Hallerne. Two Semi-Finals will be held on May 6th and May 8th to decide which countries will be represented in the Final, to take place on May 10th.


Eurovision Special Events, in association with DR, will establish television and radio production and transmission facilities at the B&W Hallerne.

The following television facilities will be available:

Manned Exterior Platform Showcase 4:3 and 16:9 Stand up positions for live programme inserts with a backdrop of the Arena. The positions are located within easy reach for the artists
Manned Interior stand up positions at the Green Room on May 6, 8 and 10
Playout (multi-format)
Editing non linear with editor
ENG Crew and local producer
Connectivity to the Eurovision Global Network

The following radio facilities will be available:

Fully equipped radio studio for interviews or talks with up to 4 people for recording or live transmissions
Workspace with a codec for regular transmissions
