Russia, the United States, Ukraine and the European Union will hold talks on Thursday 17 April in Geneva to try to negotiate an end to the crisis in Ukraine, according to EU diplomats.

Representatives of ‎the European Union, Russia, Ukraine and the United States will come ‎together in Geneva on 17 April in search of a diplomatic solution to the Ukrainian crisis.

The four-way talks are the first negotiations of their kind to attempt to find a way out of a situation which some have described as the most serious threat to ‎security in Europe since the Cold War ended.
